Day 4: The Beach and the Luge

Day 4: Gibson Island Beach & Luge
Good morning, Gibson Island!
A trip to Glenn's Bakery for fresh donuts!
The holes mean they have less calories!
A day at the beach a la Tracey with tuna on the grill and asparagus for lunch. Go chefs Nina & John!

Arriving in style

Cornhole contest

Shades of....the photographer!

Snake in the water!

We don't care!

My afternoon project: put the burgees up (one for each stop)

Apparently, this is how they walk the dogs on Gibson Island!

Evening party at the mansion (Nina is very well connected)
View from the Mansion's disappearing edge pool
We arrived by boat (and you can see the houseboat in the background)

The owner with just a few of his vintage cars

John manning "the luge" (giant ice block with grooves for orange vodka or liquor if your choice)
Nina goes for it
John's turn
Dave's turn
And not to be left high & dry. OK, maybe just dry

Wake up, Dave, the fireworks aren't over yet!
New friends, Elizabeth and Bruce Davis

We end the evening with a bang!
