Entering the C&D Canal connecting the Chesapeake & Delaware Bay

Trouble: alarm goes off and we have to shut down one engine.
Limp on one engine into Cape May canal to the closest yacht yard.

Looks like we picked up an extra passenger in the canal (fish on the swim platform)!

On to dinner in the adorable town of Cape May
At the VIRGINIA hotel of course!

Dinner Menu

On the way our cab driver, Keith, gave us a tour of the Victorian houses in Cape May. A fire wiped out all the houses in Cape May in 1878 and so all the houses were rebuilt in the current Victorian style.

Shopping after dinner while waiting for taxi
Horse and buggies all over town. The preferred way to travel in a Victorian town.
